White Fish Fry
White fish -6-7 slices
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
Red chili paste – 1 tsp
Oil – 2-3 tbsps
1.Clean and wash the fresh white fish pieces and pat dry with kitchen towels.
2.Place in a flat dish and apply salt,pepper,red chili paste and powder and keep for 20-30 mins covered in a refrigerator.
3.Heat oil in a shallow pan and shallow fry for 7-8 mins on each side turning only once.
This is a kind of shallow water fish and tender,cooks faster and tastes good.Has only a large single middle bone and big eyes…Called Vellipara in malayalam.
Serve hot for better taste with onion salad.
