Chicken – 1 kg
Onions – 2 large
Tomatoes – 3 med
Oil – 3 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves – few
Fresh coriander – 1 tbsp chopped
1.Wash and drain the chicken pieces and keep.
2.Heat a large wok add oil and onions fry till light brown then add ginger-garlic paste fry well till brown on medium heat.Sprinkle little water for better frying without sticking to pan and add curry leaves and chicken pieces.
3.Fry the chicken for 5 mins and add all the spice powders mix in well and continue frying for a couple of mins .
4.Add finely chopped tomatoes mix well and cover cook till soft ,open the lid and add 2 cups of hot water and cook another 5-10 mins.
5.Turn of heat and sprinkle chopped coriander.
Serve with rotis or rice
