Ridge Gourd Peels Chutney

Ridge Gourd Peels ( Beerakai Pottu ) – 1 cup washed and chopped
Onion – 1 large sliced
Green Chili – 5-6 chopped
Tamarind – Few pieces
Garlic – 2 pods sliced
Cumin – 1/4 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Oil – 2 tsp

Method

1.Fry sliced onion,green chili and tamarind till onion is transperant,then add the chopped peels and fry futher more for few mins till they change colour and nice aroma arises .Turn of heat and add sliced garlic and cumin and let cool.
2.Transfer into a mixer jar and add salt and 2 tsp water and grind to a chutney.
3.Transfer into serving bowl and serve with rice or pongal or kichidi.
