Tomato Onion Chutney
Tomatoes – 2 large
Onions – 2 med
Green chili – 2-3
Tamarind – 2 inch piece
Salt – as per taste
Oil – 2 tsps
1.Wash tomatoes and chop roughly and keep,onions too.
2.Heat a pan add oil and onions and green chilis chopped fry 4-5 mins,add tamarind and chopped tomatoes stir well and fry for another 5-8 mins till tomatoes are done.
3.Turn of heat and let cool,then transfer into a small mixer jar and add salt and 2 tsps of water grind coarsely.
4.Transfer into a small bowl to serve.
Serve with VENN PONGAL or PONGAL or UPMA or Even DOSAS…
