Pacchimirapa Pachadi ( Chili Chutney)


Green chilis – 2 very spicy and 3-4 less spicy ones
Onion – 2 med chopped
Tamarind – 5-6 one inch pieces
Salt – as per taste
Oil – 1 tbsp


1.Heat oil in a pan and fry onion chopped,green chilis chopped and washed tamarind till brown and turn of heat.
2.Cool the mixture and transfer into small mixer jar and add salt and 1 tbsp water and grind to get a bit coarse chutney.

Serve in a bowl with curd rice or upma or pongal.
