Potato Wedges

Potato Wedges


Potatoes – 2 medium
Oil – 2 tsps
Red chili powder – 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder – 2 pinches
Salt – to taste


1.Just scrub the surface of potatoes to clean of any mud and wash under running water and wipe with a clean cloth.
2.Cut the potatoes into wedges as shown.
3.Heat the pan add oil and potatoes start to stir till they turn light brown.If they are hard still cover and keep on low heat for a couple of mins stirring in between.
4.Lastly sprinkle salt, red chili powder,turmeric and toss well.Turn of heat and Transfer to a serving dish.

For a variation you can add Freshly ground pepper and crushed garlic.This too is good to taste with pepper and garlic aroma.

Serve hot as an accompaniment.
