This is the best and tastiest dish of prawns I’ve ever made or had…You Gotta try this…
Tiger Prawns – cleaned and deveined – 400gms
Onions - 2 large
Green chilli – 3
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsps
Turmeric powder – 4 pinches
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Oil – 2 tbsps
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp freshly ground
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Always clean and devein the prawns well before any dish preparation.
1.Prepare paste with onion,greenchilli and ginger garlic together and keep.
2.Heat a large wok and fry this paste with 1 tbsp of oil and remove and keep when it turns slightly brown.
3.To the same pan add the remaining oil and throw in the curry leaves and cleaned and drained prawns and stir well on medium to high heat..till the liquid evaporates.
4.Now add salt, turmeric and red chilli powders,stir for 2-3 mins,now add the fried onion masala paste and give it a nice stir now add 1/4 cup of water and cover till the prawns are done.
5. Open the lid and sprinkle freshly ground pepper and stir for 1-2 mins and transfer into a serving dish.
Serve hot .
