Easy Beans Dry Curry

Things you need.

French beans – 5oogms

Onion – 1 large

Green chillies – 2 slit lengthwise

Curry leaves – 1 sprig

Chana dal/Garbanzos -1 tsp

Mustard – 1/4 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/8 tsp

Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp

Salt – as per taste

Oil – 1 tbsp

Preparation

1.Remove edges of the french beans and wash thoroughly,drain and chop finely.Chop the onion finely.

2.Heat the pressure pan and add oil,Mustard,chana dal,green chili,onion.curry leaves and fry till onion is transluscent.

3.Now add the turmeric and coriander powders to the pan and stir in the finely chopped beans stir for 2-3 mins.Add salt and sprinkle 3 tbsps of water and close the lid.

4.Pressure cook on med heat for 5 mins,turn of heat and keep for another 5 mins.Then open and transfer into a serving bowl.

Serve hot with chappatis. or with rice as a side dish.
