Potato Cabbage Curry




Potatoes – 2 medium
Cabbage – 1 small chunk approx 250g
Onion – 1 medium
Green chilis – 3 less spicy
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Salt – as per taste
Tumeric powder – 3 pinches
Coriander powder – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 3 tbsps
Mustard – 1/4 tsp
Fresh coriander – 1tbsp chopped


1.Peel ,wash and cut the potatoes into cubes and boil for a few mins.Drain and keep.
2.Chop cabbage roughly and wash and drain.
3.Place a wok on heat and add oil ,add mustard,curry leaves,green chili and chopped onions stir well and saute for 3-4 mins.
4.Now add cabbage and stir well add potato and turmeric powder and salt ,mix well cover cook for few mins .
5.When the vegetable is soft enough add coriander powder and chopped fresh coriander mix well cover for another 2 mins and remove heat.

Serve with chappatis (Indian bread)
