This is a sloppy burger,as you can see I used the Mutton Mince Curry and not a Patty so .. a Sloppy Burger,Great for Packing Kids Lunch or as a Snack or even breakfast if you keep this curry ready in the refrigerator(Keeps good for 1-2 Days).I’ve used small Buns to make it easy for my kids to enjoy and looks Great.
To Prepare this all you need is
Pre Prepared Mutton Mince Curry – 1 cup ( See Recipe in Mutton-Lamb Category for the mutton Mince Curry)
Caramelized onion – 1 cup
Mayonise – few tbsps
Tomato Ketchup – 1/2 cup
Burger Buns small – 6-7
Butter – 1 stick
First to caramelise the onion,Slice the onions finely and place a pan on heat and add little butter and drop the onions stir on high for 2 mins and reduce to med heat and keep till they get well browned and soft ,stir in between and remove
Cut the buns in to half and toast with little butter with cut side down and keep.
Now spread 1/2 tsp of ketchup on the bottom side of the bun and place 1 tbsp of mince curry and then the caramelised onion a tsp,a slice of each tomato and cucumber, and a dollop of mayonise and lastly the top of the toasted bun and secure with the picks.
We can add few lettuce,raw onion or Cheddar Cheese slices to make a variation according to our choice and availability and Kids options….These are Tasty,Healthy and Homemade Version of Sloppy Burgers..
Can be served for Kids Birthday Parties as comfort food.
