•Tomatoes – 4 large
•Onion – 1 large
•Mustard+Jeera – 1 tsp
•Curry leaves – 1 sprig
•Red chilis – 2 deseeded and broken
•Tamarind – 3 inch pc
•Roasted methi+Jeera powder – 1tsp
•Oil – 3tbsps
•Red chili powder – 1tsp
•Tumeric powder – 1/4 tsp
•Crushed garlic – 1 pod
1.Wash tomatoes thoroughly and cut into chunks and blend into puree or just do it in the food processor till coarse and keep aside.
2.Chop onion finely.
3.Place a pan on heat add oil and mustard and jeera let splutter then add chopped onion saute well till light brown.
4.Add broken red chilis,tumeric,red chili powder salt washed and chopped tamarind fry 2min on low flame add salt and pureed tomatoes stir well and cook 5-10 mins .
5.Now add curry leaves and roasted methi jeera powder and crushed garlic and mix well.
6.Cook till tomato is fried well and nice aroma can be smelled.turn of flame.
7.Remove into serving bowl.
TASTES WELL WITH WHITE RICE ,SEMOLINA UPMA, OR KICHIDI.
