Curd (Yoghurt) Baath


Cooked Rice – 1 big cup
Yoghurt (Curd) – 1/2 cup
Salt – to taste
Fresh Coriander – 1 tbsp chopped

For Tempering
Oil – 2 tsps
Green chili – 1 chopped
Onion – 1 small finely chopped
Mustard seeds – 1/4 tsp
Urad Dal – 1/4 tsp,Curry leaves – few


Mix the rice,salt,yoghurt and fresh coriander in a big bowl and keep covered.
Add Little curd and 1 cup milk if you would like to serve after few hours or want to use in journeys,so that it will not turn sour.

Prepare the tempering by heating oil in a small pan and frfing the stated ingredients ,but do nor over fry the onions.and mix with the prepared rice in the bowl.

Serve with lemon or mango pickle.
